New program to train healthcare administrators for Northern B.C. launched

A new free training program is helping people facing employment barriers prepare for healthcare administration careers in northern B.C.
According to a press release by the B.C. government, the Helping Hands project combines occupational skills training, industry-recognized certifications and workplace experience. The project is delivered by Kopar Administration Ltd. in partnership with the College of New Caledonia.
The provincial government is investing nearly $600,000 in the project located in Prince George in partnership with the Government of Canada through the Canada-British Columbia Labour Market Development Agreement.
