Every year, thousands of N.W.T. residents travel to Alberta to take advantage of health services not available in the territory.
Accessing records of that care can be challenging — but the province and territory say it's about to get easier.
Under a new agreement with the province, N.W.T. residents are now able to set up accounts with MyHealth Alberta, which will allow them to securely access and download records related to their care online. Access will be provided for up to one year.
